5 weeks in Colombia

Yeah, it was great to be back, great because I could see my family, friends (at least some of them), spent time with the new generation of my LC (that includes my "little" brother), and even chaired an AIESEC National conference (my first time as chair!)... where I became an official alumni of AIESEC in Colombia.

I took some time off, ok, I confess it was only because I HAD to as a result of some cirguries I had (dental ones), but at least I could spent more time at home and enjoy my mom cares (after two years of being away)

Colombia has not changed a lot, except that now regueaton has taken all the place. Major political discussion turns around the next elections, and the possibility that re-election becomes possible, if so we already have our current president Alvaro Uribe (who is very popular lately) and a former president Cesar Gaviria, ready to take over Colombia, besides some more courageous guys who would like to take this challenge... believe me, being the president of my country, where guerrilla, corruption, and economic challenges are on the table is NOT an easy task! I guess there should be something really worthy in trying... for some the opportunity to build a better Colombia for others the opportunity to become rich!

I would get some pictures from my visit to Colombia as soon as I get them! :) My plans are only to go back by March when we will have the AIESEC regional conference, so feel free to join me!!
